My name is Dominique Isis and yes that is my actual birth given name. I work with people from all walks of life who; like you, need guidance breaking through limitations and generational cycles that dictate your current circumstances. 

I was born and raised in Southern California into a Cuban family that expected me to be a doctor. Instead, I found happiness in natural medicine, all things spiritual, and healing. I’m a big foodie and love experiencing the richness of different cultures and their rites of passage. When I’m not participating in ceremonies and facilitating healing you can catch me in nature, traveling or cozying up with a good fantasy novel.

I started on my path at the age of 18 when I lost my father in a tragic accident. My “life story” isn’t for the faint of heart, it’s truly a dark night of the soul journey. That accident was the catalyst to my spiritual awakening after experiencing a childhood full of physical, emotional, sexual abuse and two parents who struggled with alcohol and drugs. I was up to the brim with crippling anxiety, severe depression, and suicidal ideation. I was alone, with no parental guidance and looking after two siblings. I sometimes think of the paths I could’ve gone down but I am forever grateful for the path that found me.

At the age of 19 I made the decision to drop out of College and move into non-traditional learning institutes for several reasons and one main reason being that I felt there was something fundamental missing in most traditional learning systems. And that is the connection between the mind/body with the spirit. So from there I left to study Buddhist Philosophy, Breathwork, & Vipassana meditation. I attended my first retreat at 19 years old in which this teaching alone is what gave me back my life after attempting to end it due to the severe depression I was in after my fathers passing. From there my journey led me to spiritual trainings, certifications and licenses in multiple passions of mine such as Massage Therapy, Clinical Herbalism, Ancestral Healing, Energetic Healing Technologies (i.e) Crystal Therapy, Tarot, Reiki, Flower Essences, Sweatlodge & Shamanism which ultimately is what has shaped me over the years to become who I am today. Over the years of supporting, dieting, praying, and living in community with elders and master Shamanic Teachers I’ve received many indigenous trainings. These teachings have been with healers from Shipibo and Ashaninka tribes of Brazil and Peru, Azteca/Mayan Curanderismo from Mexico, Lakota and Apache North American Tribe leaders and with Curanderos from Ecuador. Currently, I am living in Argentina undergoing the process of completing Humblecha (Lakota and Sacred Fire of Itzachilatlan, Vision Quest).

 All of this to say, I am a multi-passionate being who loves to explore spiritual philosophy, cosmology, and ancient traditions that have helped me learn and grow, so that I may be able to pass this wisdom down to future generations.

I have struggled most of my life with setting boundaries, speaking up for myself, and leaning on my own intuition because of my lack of confidence. The accumulation of my ancestral wounds suppressed my inner wisdom and gifts, not allowing me to thrive. My goal is to help you attain inner peace, freedom, confidence and empowerment through the techniques and traditions of healing I have been so lucky to explore and learn from
